Department of Physics

During 1979-80 and 1980-81 only PUC (Science) classes were working in the college from the year 1981-82. B.Sc. course was started. Right from the beginning the department had excellent dedicated teachers who motivated thousands of students who in turn continued in tradition. It is a matter of pride that many of our outgoing students have pursued Physics as their career and have occupied responsible positions in reputed

The department was established in the year 1964.

Foster Quality education in Physic with global relevance” The Department is committed to provide Quality Education in Physics that will make the students excel in the competencies and values required for leadership to serve a rapidly evolving global community.

The Department has two well-equipped laboratories. The department boasts of having a large number of precision equipment’s like spectrometers, Polari meters, function generator, dual trace oscilloscopes, OP amp trainer kits, GM counters etc., Some of the the experiments are designed and modified by the staff members for better accuracy. The management is assisting completely in the purchase of apparatus.
