Any individual with +2 levels in science and with interest in computer science is eligible to take up PMCs combination.
A student interested in gaining thorough knowledge in basic computer science programming and advanced topics like DBMS, VB.NET, and mobile computing network can join the course.
Course outcome:
- To gain thorough knowledge in fundamental and advanced physics subjects like Nano, superconductors, quantum physics.
- Mathematical concepts aim at enhancing the students reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. Students explore mathematical concepts through, FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) tools like SCILAB and MAXIMA.
- To face challenging opportunities in the IT industry with a global awareness, nourished and supported by experts in the field.Programming labs and projects strengthen the domain knowledge and exposure. The curriculum provides strong foundation in fundamentals of computer science for employability and/or further graduation. The computer science courses equip the students in providing professional solutions to real-time problems.
Opportunities for a B.Sc. PMCs graduate in various frontiers
- M.Sc. in the Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science.
- MBA and MCA.
- B.Ed.
- Indian Administrative Services and other state and central Govt. Services where knowledge of science subjects is a definite advantage especially at the entrance examinations.
- GRE/GMAT etc. leading to very rewarding and self-satisfactory careers.
- Careers in Computer Science, Computer Application, Science and Technology and Management where a high level of competence and dependence on many of the science subjects like Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science is demanded.
